'Miss
England I' - This racing motor-boat was built in 1921 for Lord
Wakefield. Piloted by Sir Henry Seagrave, she set up a world water
speed record in 1929, in competition with "Miss America VII" at
Miami, Florida. On one occasion a speed of 92 m.p.h. was attained.
Powered by a twelve cylinder water-cooled Napier Lion aircraft engine. Restored 2000 for display in the Science Museum, London. |
| 'Wisp' – Steam launch dating from the early 1900's, rebuilt and remodelled by ourselves 2003 with new interior layout, saloon and facilities. Winner of the Osland Trophy for restoration and Sheila Bourne Trophy for Best in Show at the 2004 Traditional Boat Rally, Henley-on-Thames. |

'Windsor Belle' –70ft Edwardian steam launch rebuilt extensively by ourselves during the 1980's and returned to the water with a Board of Trade class V certificate. |

| 'Alaska' – Built by Horshams 1883. Rescued from Medley Boat Station, Oxford in 1974 where as a derelict hulk she had been used as a boat hiring landing stage whilst resting on the bed of the river, her sheers decked across by plywood. With the exception of one 8ft section of planking on her starboard midships, rescued from the original 'Alaska', she was returned to the water in 1987 as a totally new launch. |

'Mavourneen' – Shown here is one of two 50ft 'J' class tenders rebuilt by ourselves in the 1980's, the other launch being 'Herring Gull' restored for Peter De Savary. Both launches are now in use in the USA. We are pleased to say that we have an identical launch for sale here at Hurley 'Gelyce', to be restored. |

'Rainbow' – Rare beaver-stern launch built 1920 by Taylor & Bates of Chertsey. Returned by ourselves to prize winning condition in 1998. Powered by her original 1920 Gardner 4 BCR petrol engine restored and improved for electrical starting.Winner of the Osland Trophy for restoration and Sheila Bourne Trophy for Best in Show at the 1998 Traditional Boat Rally, Henley-on-Thames.
